No way I know. I've had various versions of JAWS load at different rates.
It's just a factor of where in the stack of stuff JAWS gets loaded, and I
for one would love to know also how to change that priority.

Hello,
I have jaws 10 and windows xp pro. Jaws takes a very long time to start
up. I have it set to automatically start and I cannot hear speech until
about 2 minutes after I hear the windows xp startup sound. I have
already disabled unnecessary startup programs in msconfig, but it
doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Is there any way that I can
get jaws to start faster?
