Hello Judith.

I do not have Microsoft Outlook 2002, but I have Microsoft Outlook 2003.
And maybe the instructions are the same for Outlook 2002 as Outlook 2003.

To create a signature in Microsoft Outlook 2003 Navigate to tools, then to
options. You will be in a multi-tab dialog box. Make sure you are on the
mail format tab, then tab or shift tab in till you hear signatures button.
Press space bar on the signatures button. A dialog box will open in this
dialog box. You will land in a list view of already created signatures if
you have created any. I doubt you have created any so press the tab button
and you will land on the new button press the space bar and you will be in
yet another dialog box, and it will ask you for the name of your signature.
Next you will have a group of radio buttons, asking you if you want a new
signature are to use this file is a template. Next you will be placed in an
edit field to type your signature. Press the tab key twice to the finish
button and press space bar. You will now be back to the dialog box that has
the list of signatures in it press tab to the OK button and press the space
bar on OK. to dismiss the dialog box. Next you will be back to the
multi-tab dialog box with focus on the signatures button. Press shift tab
once to the signatures for replies, combo box or twice for the new messages
signatures combo box. Next press alt + down arrow to open the combo box.
Then press down arrow to select the signature that you just created.

I hope this helps.

Chris.

Well, With your help I got into the file and placed my signiture in what I
thought was an edit field. Jaws told me that I have to enter a signiture as
an existing or html file. What's going on? Judith
