no, if you have a phone cord attached to your modem and the phone line, it
should work fine.

ok, a little  different twist to the question.  I am on DSL, at work, but
the  fax line and DSL come into the computers on the same phone number.
Will this work in my case?  do I have to have an additional phone line
plugged in?
