search in windows 7 and jaws

Hi again,

I am having a bit of a problem with the search function in windows 7.

I think this is jaws related because the search function is obviously
meant to be predictive - e.g. it begins working as soon as you enter
the first letter and narrows options down.

That function hasn't worked well for me with jaws.

Anyway, si don' find the search feature in win 7 as good or as
costomizable as oinprevious versions like xp.

Sometimes, when I use search, win explorer crashes.

Does anyone know how to:

1. go back to the xp search from within win 7 if possibole
or

2. to improve the existing search feature in win 7
