Yes the site is www.hmvdigital.co.uk. The site itself is actualy quite good, but I seem to remember when you start to download a track or album it has a little download manager, which was a little tricky but not to bad. Just don't download their software as it doesn't work with JAWS at all. What I'd recommend to people is that if you find something in accessible, ask the companies if you can have a free membership to it and offer to give them feedback on the problems you face as a JAWS user. I have done this with Digiguide (TV schedular software) which is completely inaccessible. Their web site is great though at www.mydigiguide.co.uk and is great for finding out what is on all channels available in the UK. Do you have a exact address for the HMV site? I assume you'r saying that I can buy and download music off the site for using on a mp3 without using the HMV softwear? Is that right? I'd also like scripts for the HMV (or any other music downloading site) if anyone else has any or any other suggestions. What I'm a bit suprised by, given how much people with a visual impairment are in to music, is that none of the bifg compays have made any effort to make their downloading sites completely accessible. Surely there is a straight-forward market reason that there are a heck of a lot of us and a fully accessible site would bring in a lot of dosh. Also in the US doesn't the Americans With Disabilities act mean that web sites must be accessible? Thanks. I use the HMV Digital site to download music. Don't use the software though to do it, just the site itself. If anybody has any scripts for the HMV Digital software I'd love to have them. Thanks Peter ----- Original Message ----- From: alun davies To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, January 01, 2007 12:57 PM Subject: Re: scripts for the rhapsody music service Hello Rich, I'm the person trying to use Rhapsody. Thanks for the email below. I've tried the address given, both by copying it in to the address bar in explorer, and writing it in, but neither work. Have you tried it recently? Has anyone else tried it? If it isn't there anymore, can anyone else suggest how I get the scripts? I live in the UK. Cheers. I just wanted to drop everyone a line to let people know there are now scripts that will make the rhapsody music service easier to use with Jaws.
