Hi Jerry,
That's the way I do it on my Win98SE machine.
I take it, you have the same arrangement on an XP machine?

To route JAWS to a particular sound card I go to Control Panel, Sounds
and Audio Devices, Audio and choose whatever sound card I want JAWS to speak
through, then I go to WinAmp, Sound Forge etc and tell them what sound card
to use. There's no need to get involved with editing files. Unfortunately
JAWS nor Window Eyes have the option to choose what sound card you would
like them to use so you have to choose that from Sound and Audio Devices.
Does this not work for some?
