Hello Bob,

Can it possibly also mean Walla Walla, a town in Washington State in the US?

Regards, Smart

I use research it all the time to check on such things as news, weather and
sports games.

But, I didn't know it would plug a word in from the text you were on. Makes
looking up things in wictionary and wicapedia much easier.

Oh, I have no idea what "WALLA" means!

Bob

Hi Listers,

I can confirm that this feature works with MS Word 2010 Windows 7 and Jaws
12.

This was my first look at the "Research" feature, and I'm impressed.

BTW, what does "WALLA" mean?

ZY!, I will say that it does. And how many times it has saved my life! It is
very useful on a test... I mean, during class. lololollolol

Hi folks,

I just discovered what, most likely, everyone else has known all along.

In MS Word 2007, W7 and JAWS 11, latest build, one can focus on a particular
word, go to research and, WALLA the word you focused on is in the search
box.

This is as slick as sliced bread. (LOLLOLLOL)

Wonder if this is still working in JAWS 12.
