It could be many things. In most circumstances, an operating system is a
special program which allows you to use your computer. Technically, an
operating system is a series of programs working together to help you use
hardware and software. In this context, it usually means the version of Windows
you are using - XP, Vista, 7, etc.

Hi everyone
could someone please do me a favor, and explain to me what it means to
explain my operating system?
I would like to be more knowledgeable before I ask one more question, and I
don't want to be "shut down"again
I just want to know what it means.
When I am asked this question, i am thinking whether I am useing jaws, xp,
type of computer,etc...
or something else.
if there is more, than I would like to know.
