Hi. I think what needs to happen here, is that *everyone* on this list and other lists who is having the problem needs to get ahold of FS tech support and they need to be told what in hell is going on. They may only think that 1 or 2 people are having the issue. So if it's a widely known bug, then FS needs to be told so it'll go into the next update, well, maybe! Either way, they need to be held accountable and if the information they're giving out is incorrect, someone needs to make sure they are corrected and will give out better information in the future. Isn't it awful when a user of the program knows more than tech support?

Dear Steve

Thank you for contacting Freedom Scientific technical Support. While in
Outlook Express, try taking the steps below:

1. Activate the configuration manager "JAWS key+number row 6".
2. Pull up the set options menu "alt+s"
3. Press the letter a to open the advanced options menu
4. Tab over to
text out delay
5. Change this number from 0 to 1000 and hit enter
6. Save the settings "control+s"
7. Exit the manager "alt+f4"

See if this resolve your issue.

Be sure to include all previous correspondence pertaining to this
matter when replying to this message so that we might better
assist you.

I wonder if you are aware of the problems that we are having with jaws 8
and
outlook express. It started with jaws 7. when you reply to a message and

then delete it, jaws speaks the name of the message you just deleted
when in
fact the next message is really on the screen. I did write to you about
this
once and Tracy told me to change some settings and that is not the
problem.
Other people are experiencing this problem also.
