regarding if anyone has used foxit pdf reader with jaws 9 and if there are any
alternatives to adobe acrobat reader for pdf documentsHi chip,
I got this info from another list and did not use it because I have no real
need but ...
Someone recommends using textpal to convert PDF files. You can find it on
Google.

Well, one thing you can do with Adobe reader 8 is to use the file menu "save
as text" option. You'll loose the page numbering, and the formatting option
information (such as bolding etc.), but if all you want is the basic
information, I do this a lot and then am able to use notepad, my victor reader
stream, etc. to read the resulting text file.

hello has anyone used fox it pdf reader withJAWS. How useable is it and how
well does it work with pdf documents. I saw very good reviews on CNET and that
is why I figured I would ask about it on the list. I am getting more and more
frustrated with adobe an figured I would look around for alternatives to being
able to read pdf document without having to download the bloat ware which is
Adobe acrobat reader 8.1.12. if any one can advise on the alternatives I would
appreciate it.
