Hi Judith,
While it is not the only function it will perform,
CDEX is mainly a ripping program.
It will rip, or extract tracks from commercially produced, (store bought),
CD's.
It's a straight forward and Jaws friendly program that is easy to use for
extracting tracks from CD'S, to store on your hard drive.
This program is not necessary for the task you are wanting to perform.
EZCD Creator, should allow you to copy a cd.
