Please, people. Stop posting incorrect instructions about "downloading" CDs
to your hard drive, using two different programs, etc. to copy a CD , burn a
CD from individual tracks, and so forth. If you have a program for these
tasks, such as Easy Cd Creator, please just look at the Help section and
read the instructions. I don't know that program, but all the others I've
seen and tried out have Help sections that sometimes actually give detailed
instructions how to perform the various tasks they do. Try looking at the
help files instead of making up these things.

Also, some of you might want to join the mailing list called PC-Audio, where
everyone on the list is capable of discussing these things clearly and many
of the subscribers are experienced with all this. If anyone's interested,
I'll dig up the subscription info for you.

Bruce, where are you?

Cheers. Are there any keystrokes for that?

    Cheers again, Andrew.

Hello, you are going to half to install something like easy cd creator
on your hard drive. Than download the pre-recorded cd on to your hard drive
and then to one of the programs like Nero to record it.You can get easy Cd
creator at www.jfwlite.com

There has to be a way to do this, I just don't know what it is. Thanks for

              Hi Judith,

If you want to burn a music CD using EZ CD creater and jaws,
do the following. Oh, I should of asked you if it was Roxio, I have Roxio 5.

              1. Open roxio.
              2. Press Alt and right arrow until you hear new project.
              3. Arrow down until you get to music CD.
              4. Hit enter and tab to the appropriate directory where you
have stored your files.
              6. To add a desired file, press control T.

When you are done, you should have a list with all the files
you have added. Then it's just a matter of hitting Alt and arrowing down
until you hear record CD. Hit enter and the buring process should start.

If you want to record actual music like guitar parts on to a
CD, you would be much better off with Sony Sound Forge 7 or 8. I have Sound
FOrge 7 and I'm a singer/songwriter. I record with Sound Forge and then use
Sound Forge to burn the tracks on an audio CD. Also, you might want to check
out the Fostex MR-8. I hope I've helped.

              Marissa

I have EZ CD creator and obviously a cd player on my
computer. How do I record a music cd on the machine using the EZ CD
creator? Thanks, Judith
