if the document is an image or series of images with no text, this is
correct.  If it is a word or other text processor document translated
directly into pdf though it should work fine even though it may be a bit on
the unstructured side.

Even after acquiring the correct version of Acrobat reader, the file still
may be unreadable.  Experience shows that if the file was not created
correctly (tagging) then the entire document will not be readable.

if you have the correct acrobat reader edition, you do not need these
keystrokes.  if you do not have the correct edition, they won't help.  to
test whether you have the correct edition, press alt+help and open the
acrobat reader help file.  if it reads, you have the correct edition.  if
not and you have windows.98se or above, go to:
http://access.adobe.com
and download the full version of adobe reader 6.0.  if you have windows.98
or windows.95, download the full version of acrobat reader 5.0

In any case, uninstall the version of acrobat reader 5.0 that you have
before installing either version.
