I just double checked jaws version installed on my machine and it is 4.00.103 and it was running for last year perfectly with xp-pro. Yesterday I installed windvd decoder and after that it stopped reading menu items correctly. Also I just noticed that when selecting text from front page it doesn't read back selected text. I am thinking that probably there is toggle button that turns on/off reading selected text. Jaws 4.02 was the first version of Jaws that was compatible with XP.
