Yes, so far Jaws is quite useful. I'm wondering if its because I'm using the 64 bit edition? Since you say it will announce "collapsed", maybe there is something I need to turn on within Jaws. 

What are your thoughts.

with the group messages by conversation on, and using Jaws 10, then when an item in the message list is a closed thread, Jaws says colapsed before reading the sender's name. I gather that Jaws isn't as helpful to you?

trying to figure out is; how can i tell if there is a conversation while arrowing through the message list? It seems there is no indication of a conversation or thread, so if the thread is closed, you can see the start but not the rest of the thread.
