question about upgrading jaws

Hi,
I am looking for some ideas on how to proceed with the following issue.
I am using Jaws 6.0 (with 2 upgrades available), Naturally professional
speaking 8 and J-say pro 2.1.
My main objective is to update Jaws to 8.0 to begin the learning process of
the new window tab and ribbons layouts.
My question is can I just use Naturally pro speaking 8 and Jaws 8 to succeed
in this? I am not sure the role or function that J-Say has performed for me
over the last several years, the computer was configured for me but no
training was included . At first I was limited in how much keyboard work I
could perform. Now I have adjusted enough to be able to use the
keyboard100%.
Any input or advice would be appreciated,
