Hay Korin. You will have to think very hard and come up with that answer.
A lot of us would like to know. I know I can go to the windows mixer and
set the wave volume up and down but this effects every sound that is going
through the wave channel. At least I can independently change the levels
for other channels in the mixer such as midi music and the line input.

Hello,
There is a way to adjust the relitive volume of music and system sounds to jaws speach. I did it a while ago when I was having similar problems. It involved a lot of poking around in different menues before I found the way to make the changes. I'm just not remembering quite what I did. I really should have written it down!
If I do remember I'll write back.
*think, thinking, thinking*

Hi,
I have the problem other way round. On some of the web pages they have music which is to loud and jaws speaks to low. Is there a way to lower the web page music and increase the jaws volume?
Thanks,
Sanjay

I don't think there is an independent volume control for Eloquence with Jaws. I wish there was. WindowEyes has it. Only thing to do it to be sure the volume in any media player you use is turned up as high as possible. Or, get a second sound card and hope it works. Otherwise, invest in a hardware synthesizer.
I'm trying the two sound card thing but it isn't working on this machine so far. Have followed all instructions from FS but no joy. So, I'll have to get a serial port adaptor so I can use my LiteTalk synthesizer.

Hi, sory, i don't know if this has been discussed on the list but do you know of a way to lower eloquence volume without interfering on other things? For example, i'm listening to music but I also want to work on my machine. but JAWS is speaking louder than my music! so, Is there a way to lower that without having to use a seperate souncard for JAWS? Thanks if you can help.
