Hi Hal,
The scripting manual doesn't require any params so it could be the
compiler playing up. I'd send support an email and include the whole
script. Also wondering what the ! does.

Function: WillOverwriteClipboard
Description
If the clipboard has text resulting from an append to clipboard
operation, asks the user if the clipboard text should be overwritten.
Returns
Type: int
Description: True if the clipboard does not has text resulting from an
append operation or if the user answers yes to the query asking if they
want to overwrite the clipboard text, false otherwise.
Parameters
No Parameters

Hi to all on list,
I'm not on the Jaws scripting list anymore; too many messages to go
through. I've done a bit of scripting in the past, and am trying to
write a couple of simple scripts for MS Word XP 2002. When I go to
compile, I get an error message saying that "function
WillOverwriteClipboard requires 2 parameters not 0." I use Jaws V 9.0
latest build. The line I am placed on is:
if !WillOverwriteClipboard() then
Anyone got any ideas?
