Rosemarie,

Passport is actually pretty easy to obtain. They have an audible link which reads you a set of nine numbers that you enter as a substitute for the graphical characters. Also, you mentioned using MSN but having trouble with it. If you used MSN, you can enter the same sign-in information for Windows Messenger as you did with MSN. All your contacts will then be in Windows Messenger. Again, though, if you have Windows Media Player, just click on the udible link when it asks for the characters to be entered, just look for the link which says something to the effect of "I can't see this picture".
