often when you get an attachment like this it is from aol and for some
reason, they are hard to open. If you are getting .eml files and they are
not propperly coded, this can happen. Also, if your email program is not
working correctly, since .eml is used by outlook and outlook express, you
wouldn't even be able to open messages. As someone else has said, it is
possible to fix the problem, but this does not be symptomatic of it. You
can also change the extention of the file to .txt and it will open fine in
note pad.

I have never heard of that file extension. I deleted the attachment. Not
worth all the hassle. It is just something my sister sent to me. I think
that there is a problem with the file anyway. Everyone else she has sent it
to also had the same problem opening it. I thank you for all of your help
and I really appreciate it.

attachmentment you expected? If not, I'd just delete it and move on.
