David, If you have the choice, then stick with 2003 in all cases. Outlook calendar works the same in both 2003 and 2007. I don't know how to disable the inbox cleanup tool. Have you looked in tools/options and poked around? Hello, I'm contemplating an office install on a new machine, i've got my choice between office 03 and office 07 and am wondering which way to go? I'm using jfw10 currently and might be moving to 11 though that's not a certainty at this point. I know that 03 works well with jfw, and have heard 07 might as well, but that it has the ribbon and an extremely steep learning curve. If anyone has used both with jfw can i get a pro conn on each with emphasis on what works in 07 and what does not if anything? The main reason this is a concern is i've used outlook 03 as an imap client to gmail. Twice in the past a kind of inbox cleanup wizard has happened and my inbox messages have all been removed. The mail is still there in all mail folder but this behavior is inconvenient to say the least! I'm wondering if this is disableable in either 03 or 07? I'm also needing to use the calender in outlook again either 03 or 07 and am wondering accessibility wise which is more developed? I'm going to be needing to schedule different events each of five days, and possibly different events in an hourly or half hourly time block perday and have notifications on the events. Any suggestions or input appreciated. Thanks.
