Hi Gery,
Have you tried to return to the View menu and select AutoPreview again because 
both AutoPreview and Preview Pane have toggle functions? When you select 
AutoPreview, the message lines you mentioned are displayed. If you select it 
again, they disappear.

I installed 6.0 with outlook 2000 and windows XP.  When I go to the auto 
preview option I get the subject and none of the message.  I used to get a line 
or 2 of the body of the message.  Anyone know how to get th is to happen again?
