Linda, In order to delete all the messages with a particular subject, you have to use the Show in Groups feature on the View menu, Arrange By submenu. If the folder is arranged by Subject, the grouping feature allows you to view all the messages with same subject (the group is "expanded") or just as a single line that gives the number of messages in the group (the group is "collapsed"). When you arrow up and down the folder, you will only find the group headings for collapsed groups. Use Alt + UpArrow or Alt + DownArrow if you want to reach the group headings for expanded groups. When you get to a message, press LeftArrow to collapse the group, and pressing Delete will then act on the whole group. Pressing RightArrow on a group heading will expand the group. The difference between Conversation and Subject is that the former automatically groups the messages and only shows the latest message and any unread messages for each subject. To get to the group heading you have to press Alt + UpArrow, and you can then delete the whole group with Delete. Org Subject: off topic outlook 2003 question Hi, Does anyone know how to go from one subject to the next in outlook 2003? I have it set to sort by subject but I have to delete each message instead of deleting all of the messages in a particular subject. I want to hit delete so it can delete all the messages in a subject. Also, what is the difference between subject and conversation?
