Devona,
It's all been explained. But let me put it together. Here (it's down below,
also, where you could have seen the instructions for unsubscribing, which
work exactly the same way) is the listserv address you need to write to:

jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

now, that's the address to which you will email your request. But first, to
learn how to type the command properly into the subject line of that
otherwise blank email to the above address, do write to the address you were
given below, with only the word Help in the subject line. And that will get
you a whole list of the commands you can write to the listserv, including
the proper phrasing for the nomail command, which I don't happen to know.

  Hi Devona,

The below advice is correct. And, just in case this helps to clarify, a
listtserv is the program that distributes messages like this one. Its
address is the one to which you send commands to be automatically
performed.
That is different from the address of the list itself, populated by others
like yourself, who can't unsubscribe you or put you on nomail and so
forth.
if you understand this already, sorry. But sometimes it seems that people
  don't get the difference.

you need to send a message to

  <mailto:ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=help>

to receive the commands you can send to the listserv via email.
