Hi Jim,

Well, in the case of a message title in the list view of my Inbox, I can
accomplish the same thing, minus the position in the list and the hint to
use my up and down arrow keys, by simply pressing Say Line, which is what I
generally do if I want to remind myself of which message my focus is on.

Oh, well. I guess it must have more impressive or more helpful applications
in other contexts, and that this one doesn't show it off all that well.

Jerry,
it's not Insert Tab, or at least I don't recognize that key combo. If I want

to read the header fields in your message to which I'm replying, I press the

alt key in combination with 1, 2, 3, and so forth. What is this key
combination of Insert and Tab? I just pressed it and nothing was spoken at
all. I've never pressed it before, and also I'm not using the update
version, just the first update version 8.0.243 or whatever it's called.

It seems that Jaws key tab to read the current window has fallen by the
wayside under the update, v. 8.0.1163, and now the field labels, if that is
what they are called for subject, to, cc, etc., for this message are not
reading.
