new jfw user

Hey group.
I am still new enough to need guidance.
I sent an option for the dictionary but only got one response.
I have been looking for this site for years.
Please help me be a quality contributer.
My question is about the resp9onse time with the new jaws 7.
When I back space, the verbal is slightly delayed.
My last install of 6.1 on my lap top resulted in a gradually increasing
response to the key until it was completely unusable.
No fix yet.
Should I un-install and re-install?
