neospeech and jaws: the answer

under the change synthesizer menu, switch to sapi 5.
next in the jaws main window, select voices, global.
the neospeech voices are viewed by jaws as "people," so to select the neospeech
you want, simply change the "person" option in the voices dialog.
by the way, it seems if I have neospeech selected for bothjaws and kurzweil, the
kurzweil neospeech voice will not speak.
