needing help with norton

Hi gang. i would like to request some help if i may.
I am running norton antivirus 2004 and i would like to ask this question of you.
there is a date that says 3-116-2004.
It is i believe the 29th of march now.
I also keep getting a prompt that it is not up to date.
can anyone help me please?
