need help with desktop

I am not sure what has happened, but when I go to my desk top and hit o for
outlook express (like I normally would) it will say two different programs.
It will say outlook express and my documents. I am not sure what has
happened and I can't seem to figure out how to get it back to normal. I am
using jaws 5 and windows 98. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joy
