Stephen

You did say that your e-mail is web based. have you tried reading your e-mail with an actual e-mail client such as Eudora, or Outlook Express or something similar?
This could go a long way to solving the problem, although I've not noticed any real differences with Eloquence on websites. In other words, when reading a website with a lot of text on it using Eloquence as you are, I've not noticed the type of thing you describe. Eloquence always seems to stop and pause in the right places, this is assuming that proper punctuation is used. If it isn't, the results can be very interesting. With a long line of text without any sort of punctuation to indicate a pause, Eloquence seems to lower in pitch as it reads. Try reading your e-mail with another program and let us know if you still receive the same results.

i am using the elequence synthizier on both version 5.1 and 6 - i have recently installed v6 and this is when the problems started. i haven't merged my settings from 5.1 as yet - don't know if this might be the problem. stephen
