Another shortcoming of Thunderbird is that it does not read usenet news group messages like OE.

Unfortunately, like Firefox, Thunderbird support isn't as good as Outlook Express support when considered from Jaws' side. One of the features I use a lot in Outlook and I can't use in Thunderbird is threading. The other thing is that attachments wouldn't be announced as the first thing like in Outlook. Apart from that, if you ever forget whether you had read this message or not, you're stuck, because, Jaws, again, wouldn't announce "unread".--- Contact info: Skype: parham-d MSN: fire_lizard16 at hotmail dot com email: parham90 at GMail dot com----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Foret jr" <rforetjr@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 25, 2009 3:19 PM Subject: Re: my issue with FirefoxJust wanted to jump in here and report that last night, Firefox passed boththe: www.amazon.com and the: www.dominos.comtests. I was just wondring. I didn't bother with the special Sun download manager, as recommended on that page. I just clicked on the Access Bridge link itself, saved to my desktop, and then let the application's wizard take over. It's a very smoothprocess. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Foret jr" <rforetjr@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 24, 2009 12:14 PM Subject: Re: my issue with FirefoxSo, I reinstall Java access bridge then? Where can I find that; assuming I lost it somewhere? Sounds like your help has so far been the most helpful.Thanks. Sincerely, The Constantly BAREFOOTED Ray "Old friend, what are you looking for? Each time I accept a Java update, I go back to my Java Access Bridge .exe file and reinstall it, as Sun Micro recommends. this two-step procedure has solved almost all my Web problems using Firefox, which has numerous advantages over IE7, including speed at opening pages, low generation of temporary files, the Webvisum feature, and so on. I find that JAWS does not always announce the contents of a web page accurately, and of course, there is no audible notification of RSS feeds. I have never encountered any problem withAmazon.com using IE 7. Why loved instead of love, simple. When I went to: www.dominos.com to order Pizza one night, Firefox kept crashing on me everysingle time I went to add my order to their shopping card. This alsohappened every single time I tried to log on to: www.amazon.com and I could get no help at all from tech support what so ever. The forum was worse thanuseless and no matter what I tried, I just couldn't get it to work. Hasanybody else out there had this happen; and, if so, what were you able to doto fix it; if it was fixable? Also, I noticed that JAWS was not reading Firefox dialogs such as securityalerts such as when you are about to open a secure page ETC.
