Okay, now I understand what you meant. It was just that your statement said 
that the 3-finger salute didn't work with JFW in XP, and that is not 
correct.

As for accessing the task manager when JFW goes silent, why not use narrator 
to read the screen? Just hit Control + Escape and then hit "R" to open the 
run box, and type "narrator" and hit enter.
