Re: msconfig and checking start up items

Hi Cait,
First thing, when you go into msconfig, make sure that selective startup is
checked,
if not, then everything will be loaded at startup.
Go to the start page, and uncheck only the items you are sure about.
For instance, applications you are familiar with.
What shows up in the start up group will vary from machine to machine.
Take note of how your machine currently reacts at startup, and performs
during use,
as this behavior may change.
I have only 4 items checked out of 35, and from the push of the power
button,
to Windows, and Jaws being ready to use is 1 minute.
