I gave my laptop info in a previous e-mail that you probably already have
gotten, so I won't repeat that info here.

Regarding the text editing info, that is also very helpful, and I am very
appreciative.

Thanks for being so supportive; as I said earlier, if I wasn't so crunched
for time here, I'd do the powerpoint tutorial. Hopefully, I can get to that
someday, but I just need some basics to get me through my current project.

Tom,

As George said, we need to know what laptop you have. They are all very
different.

As to editing.

1. Tab to the objects until you hear that it's one with text. Then press
Enter.

2. Standard navigation with arrow keys and editing and Enter for line
breaks, etc.

3. When you're done editing hit Escape.

Subject: more powerpoint questions

Hi, all.

I'm making progress now with this powerpoint challenge I'm facing, but have
a few more questions that I can't find answers to in the info I have so far:

1. I will be using a laptop for this powerpoint, and I can't find the page
up and page down keys. I know where they are on a normal desktop PC, but
can't locate them on this laptop. I have Jaws in laptop mode.

2. How can I edit the text of a powerpoint, if I wish to make changes?

Hang in there with me folks; I think I'm making progress here.
