Do a ault+v to go to the view menu, then errow down until you hear =
folder
list. Here you should hear it say folder list checked, or something like
that. When you are on folder list checked hit enter. Now do another =
ault+v
and errow to folder list and it should say folder list with the word
checked.
That should do it.
Another way to check is after you uncheck folder list, then tab through =
your
in box and you should only have the in box window.

Ok, how do I turn off the folder list tree view? The navigation and =
preview
panes are already off, I thik if I get rid of the folder view, that'd do =
it.

Thanks again,
Cait

Yes, instead of clicking on fields when you're customizing the current
view, I think the button you want is columns or column layout.
Somewhere in there it lets you specify specific column widths.

You'll get more space to work with if you turn off the folder list tree
view, the navigation pane, the preview pane, etc., so that all that's
left is the message list.
