Eileen,
First you'll need to create a shortcut on your desktop. I hope you already know
how to do that. It involves exploring the start menu/programs folders in your
user settings, and then sending the Outlook Express link file to the desktop.
On the desktop, highlight the OE Icon
Press Alt+Enter to open the shortcut properties.
Tab until you hear
Run: Combo Box and it will very likely say "normal Window".
Arrow down until you hear "maximized".
Press Enter, and that's it.

Nice. I never knew we had something like this. To solve the problem myself, I
just created an Outlook Express shortcut on my desktop and set it to launch
the window maximized. I'll have to download this and give it a try.

The message window in Outlook Express is always small. In order to have the
best results with JFW, I need to maximize the window each time I open, reply,
forward, etc. a message in Outlook Express so I am constantly maximizing the
window. Is there a way to permanently maximize this window so that JFW can
function well?
I have Outlook Express 2003 and JFW version 10.
