Hi, I'm assuming you know that when you press Control O, the focus is at first on an edit box where, if you know the path and filename you wish to open, you'd type that in there and hit enter on the OK button or whatever the action button is labeled. that would open the document whose filename (and path, if necessary) you'd entered there. but if you wish to see a list of files in the default folder where your Word files are kept, or in any of the subordinate folders, you first type in the folder path if it isn't the default folder, and then press shift Tab to go into the files list view. At that point, is this what you're having trouble with? Do you enter that files list view, attempt to arrow up and down it, but find that Jaws won't speak the names of the files?
