I don't know how much help I can be, however, when i went through my initial
training through the Central Association for the Blind (CAB) I went for a full
week's worth of training, 5days at approximately 8hours per day plus I believe
a half hour for lunch added onto that. And I'd typed before, but was in the
same circumstances: I had no real working knowledge of Windows, and none
whatsoever of JAWS.
