Hi, you can turn it on by opening Windows Firewall in Control Panel, however the problem is that Windows Firewall only protects incoming traffic and allows all outgoing traffic to go through. So for better protection I suggest you give Look'N'Stop a try. Hope that helps. Why not join my Blind Hobbyist group? Subject: latest version of Jaws and Windows fire wall

Hi All

I read in a PC magazine that one should check if Windows Fire Wall is on for
extra protection.

I am using AVG 8 free and Windows Defender for protection.

For some or other reason Windows Fire Wall is off (not recommended)?

Should I switch this on and where and how do I do this using the latest
version of Jaws 9.

Thanks.

Renette
