I have this problem only once in a while, which I've narrowed down to a situation where I have two or more webpages open at the same time. If I perform a search or some other navigation function on one page, focus on the other will revert to the top. Otherwise, JAWS stays, dare I say, focused, whether I move between webpages or applications. I have stayed with XP and JAWS 10.0.1142, not the very latest release of JAWS 10 because this one worked for me and often new releases create new problems. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rob To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, September 22, 2009 3:22 PM Subject: Re: jfw jumping to top in firefox Hi, I have this problem in the portable version of fire fox. I dont know how to fix it. Whenever I add new words to the jaws dictionary, when I exit the dictionary and return to the fire fox page, it goes to the top. then I have to look for the place where I last stopped reading. so I know how you feel. ----- Original Message ----- From: Marc Rocheleau To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, September 22, 2009 9:25 AM Subject: jfw jumping to top in firefox Hi list, Sorry to ask this again but it's really becoming a pain and nobody replied to my last post. When switching to another program window from firefox, when I go back to the web browser, the cursor jumps to the top of the page instead of staying where it was when I switched windows. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how do you fix it? I am using the latest version of firefox, have the webvisum add-on and I'm running jfw 10. Any help would be much appreciated! -Marc
