I totally agree with your statement.

I do think that all of us have different needs and preferences.

However, if  someone is going to lose sight completely, he/she should  use
both magnification and screen readers.

I think the pperson need to be shown both programs whether is jaws, window
eyes, magic and whatever is close to magic and let the person decide what is

best for her.him?
