jfw and word question

I am using the latest version of jaws and I am trying to edit a word document.
I am not sure if the problem is jaws or word. I see the text on the display
and hear it spoken. When I try to get the cursor to go to where I want to add
the text, nothing happens. I put the cursor there and try to type the aditions
and it doesn't work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!
