If you have Windows XP, go to the "Start" menu, press S for "Settings", then C for "Control Panel". Now press F until you hear "Folder Options" and press ENTER. Control + Tab to the "View" tab then TAB to the "Advanced" tree view and Down Arrow to where you can check "Show Hidden Files and Folders. Tab to "OK" and press ENTER.
