Hi Dennis,

Both the standard and the Basic Html view of Gmail are accessible.
However, in order to use the standard view of Gmail, you need to use
FireFox 3 (or any ARIA supporting browser). If you prefer to use IE 7,
then your best option would be to use the Basic Html view.

How do you switch to the Basic Html view?
1.      Log in with your username and password into Gmail.
2.      Click on the “Basic Html” link.
3.      You will be in the Basic Html view

How do I make the “Basic Html” view stick?
1.      Once you have switched to the basic Html view the first time, click
on “set basic Html view as my default view” link.

The next time you log into Gmail, you will automatically be taken into
the basic html view until you manually switch to the standard view. At
that point, you will need to go through these steps again to make the
basic html view stick.
