Have you murged your settings? -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Curtis Delzer Sent: 22 August 2004 05:25 To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: jfw 5.1 and short keys lite. Hi everyone. My fiance updated her jfw5.0_844 to 5.1 and now is having a severe problem using short keys lite, (a program available on the jfwlite home page which you can use to generate often used combinations of keystrokes like email addresses and the like.) What happens is that the keystroke that is used to generate the short key output also makes it into the application, and then the generation of the combination by short keys itself is aborted at a period. As an example, my address is curtis@xxxxxxxxxx, and the address is cut off after the last period so "curtis@calweb. is sent and the short key she uses to generate my address, comma comma c is in the application along with curtis@calweb. She really needs to use that program since she writes a lot of promo literature andit would save a lot of keystrokes if she can continue in this new JFW version. We tried obvious things I.E. restoring keyboard hooks from within Shortkeys, and even went back to jfw 5.0_844 to see if the problem went away which it did. Any ideas? I went into jfw configuration manager into the keyboard options without finding anything that might help, so for now am stumped. Thanks for reading, and please HELP! *smile* BTW, am getting married in 8 days!
