Hi Curtis,
If she was using short keys lite, with the previous version of Jaws,
and was having no problems, I would return to using that version.
There is no real reason, tthat she can't use more than one version of Jaws.
Upgrades don't always equal better.
It may be easier, and less frustrating, to switch between versions for
different applications,
rather than invest a lot of time in a solution which may, or may not be
there.
Also, this could be the way to go, so she can get her work done, while a
possible solution is in the works.
I don't upgrade unless I am forced to, because these situations are usually
the result.
I am currently running 4 different versions of Jaws, and switch back and
forth, depending on the application I am using.
For instance, JFW3.7 is the main version I use, but I have found that
JFW5.0reads my Quicken 2001 better, and, I need JFW 4.5 for some web pages
that I use often, because the companies that own those pages have made
changes since I first started using them.
Assigning shortcut keys to each version makes it quick and easy to switch.

severe problem using short keys lite, (a program available on the jfwlite
home page which you can use to generate often used combinations

keystroke that is used to generate the short key output also makes it into
the application, and then the generation of the combination by short

curtis@xxxxxxxxxx, and the address is cut off after the last period so
"curtis@calweb. is sent and the short key she uses to generate my address,

needs to use that program since she writes a lot of promo literature andit
would save a lot of keystrokes if she can continue in this new JFW

Shortkeys, and even went back to jfw 5.0_844 to see if the problem went away
which it did. Any ideas? I went into jfw configuration manager

now am stumped.
