a tip to help avoiding unwanted downloads is to make sure that the auto
install items in advanced internet options are turned off.

Hello!

Do you by any chance runb Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security on
your machine?

I had a similar problem on my Toshiba 1900 SAT, 512 Mb ram, 1,7 Ghz
processor and 40 Gb HD!

After Windows came on it took 4-5 minutes before Jaws and Eloquence or
Infovox330 which is my Swedish synthesizer to come alive!

I disabled both NAV and NIS to start at system start amd mow Jaws starts up
normally and after that I activate the other programs manually!
