we have both zoom text 8.1 and jaws at school ,
jaws is primary
people who need zoom then turn it on
one thing, to consider,
when you load zoom
turn off the zoom voice
alt shift s,
then go into the menu of zoom and
to setting??
not sure but, make the setting with
the zoom voice off ,
save as the default setting

I have installed ZT 8.11 and Jaws 5.0 on the same machine. Take note: Start
ZoomText first, turn off ZoomText speech, then start JAWS. Or it will
crash. They work good together otherwise. Turn them off in the reverse
order.
Also, you may investigate Magic as a more compatible alternative. I have no
first-hand experience with Magic.

Running both screen readers at the same time isn't advisable. At the very
least, it's quite confusing. Doesn't matter where you put the programs. I
have JAWS and Window-Eyes on the same drive with no ill effects
whatsoever. I know nothing about screen-enlargment programs, I'm afraid.
