Start by listening to the training materials from FS on the ribbons, office 2007. Next, NBP sells braille reference card books on Office 2007 Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. They are not perfect because it takes forever to find things but they do help with the keyboard combinations needed to complete many tasks. Third, when exploring the ribbons, pressing alt brings them up, to explore the home ribbon, press the down arrow and then tab through the options, or, hold down the shift and right arrow through the various sections-be careful, font has an edit box and if you get stuck in there you have to press escape and start over again and tab past the edit box. Explore the other ribbon tabs in similar fashion. Fourth, Access Technology has a good tutorial on Vista the ribbons and how to navigate if you are willing to pay. Fifth, if you are a bookshare member, look for GETTING STARTED WITH OFFICE 2007 and other GETTING STARTED titles and download the books, these books have some figures, but they offer both mouse clicks and keyboard commands for most options. If you want more detailed books get the MISSING MANUAL SERIES they also offer. These are DAISY books, and will after being unpacked work well on a Victor Stream. Just get use to the ribbons, or is there a way to switch so that one has the menus back like office 2003 had? thanks for all your suggestions have a good day. p.s. if its a matter of suck it up and get use to the new way of doing things, do you have a suggestion of good tutorials or docs to read...
