jaws and .tif files

Hi All
I am using the latest version of Jaws.
I received an attachment with a .TIF extension.
Obviously Jaws cannot read it.
My question:
Can I access the attachment the same way I am doing with a scanned image
that is in pdf?
I am using ABBYY Fine Reader to read scanned documents that I receive as
attachments.
